Manchester Really Is In Fashion!

Just when you thought Manchester couldn’t possibly get any more stylish, this autumn the city will play host to the North West’s hottest fashion event – Manchester in Fashion. 

Excitement levels are already rising surrounding the event, which will take place between 2nd – 5th October of this year, and which will celebrate Manchester’s fashion and lifestyle culture, as well as giving style lovers access to high profile catwalk shows, fashion seminars and the chance to purchase items from a multitude of hot labels including many of Manchester’s finest design talent. 

Following on from the success of last year’s Fashion Weekend Manchester, the event will be taken to a higher level in order to appeal to every fashion lover in Manchester, both men and women, from designer label lovers to high street devotees, and will see events happening all over the city centre to mark a week of fashion celebration. 

The heart of Manchester in Fashion will be at Urbis, a cultural landmark in the city and located in the popular shopping district. During the event, Urbis will be transformed into a 4-storey fashion haven including a purpose built catwalk theatre, a floor completely filled with designer clothing, accessories, jewellery and lifestyle boutique stands, and an experience floor hosting hair and beauty features including a blow dry bar, nail bar, and an area for basic spa treatments.

Organisers of Manchester in Fashion hope that everyone involved in the fashion and lifestyle industry in Manchester will get involved during the event and work together to raise the profile of Manchester as a key fashion and shopping destination.

Plans are underway for a high profile launch event on the evening of October 2nd to mark the beginning of Manchester in Fashion and also for a Manchester in Fashion Style Card that will give visitors access to special offers and discounts all around the city during the event.
