Buy Art Fair, is celebrating following a successful launch at Urbis in Manchester with over £100,000 of art sold during the three-day event.
 
The event, which boasted a line up of over 215 artists from British and European galleries, attracted over 3,200 visitors throughout the three days, reflecting the growing demand for original art in the North West.

Over £100,000 worth of artwork was sold during the course of the event, with pieces ranging from £40 to £6,000 each.  The average spend was £400.

The first Buy Art Fair took place from 9th – 12th October 2008 and is a joint venture between Moorfield Media and Urbis.
